Entry Level PHP Programmer, contract/intermittent, Goodyear AZ

Job opportunity:
Seeking entry level PHP Programmer to make changes and up-grades to PHP job site software already in operation (by BitmixSoft). The niche job site is called MPCJobs and is a job board for master planned communities. Positions focus on professional positions in the real estate and hospitality industries. Changes will include web design and programming including simple things like setting up PayPal, formatting and setting up search engine friendly pages. Other changes require light programming like setting up new pages with content, adding a blog and making the site more user friendly. This is a fun position where you can be creative. We are looking to blow our competition away with a great looking and functioning site.
This contract position will be supervised by JIML8, who regularly posts on linuxquestions.org.

Job Requirements:
Must have PHP experience (jobboard experience a plus). Prefer local candidate but telecommuting OK. Must be PHP savvy, creative, detail oriented, responsible and able to complete assignments in a timely manner with little supervision. Must speak English with good communication skills. Would expect regular updates.

Compensation:
Prefer to pay by the job will consider by hour if a win/win scenario. This position could turn into permanent contract position on an as needed basis to up-date the site. Position perfect for senior level programming student.

How to apply:
Please email resume to Sharon@MPCJobs.com Also, view the jobsite www.mpcjobs.com and make your top 3 recommendations for improving the site that you can implement without assistance (i.e., you possess the skill and knowledge). Include recommendations with your resume.

Right now it's up, but it doesn't zoom well in Konqueror 3.5.8; try it @ 200%, you won't like it.
